Staying in Pamplona tonight. It was a less strenuous hiking day but the sun made it more draining. I applied sunscreen 3 times and am happy to say no sunburn! The views have been amazing. Lots of green and hills with small towns interspersed. The terrain is very rocky no mud today. Occasionally on the steeper areas they put up a cobblestone looking surface not exactly smooth but solid. This makes less rock slippage which is nice because I don't like slipping or stepping on pointy things. It is 5pm we walked from 7:40am - 2:30 pm. I am not very sore so my stretching regiment must be pay on off! Buen Camino!

:) we are following you a bit on google map ! you can even make it horrizontal and somewhat 'walk' around. gives us a better feel for where you are etc.
ReplyDeletePamplona is the famous bull running city ? there are many sites to see there also, from what we read are you planning to spend more time in some 'stops' ? Hooray for Sunscreen working, and for the Sun, so you can see the surroundings. horray also for the mystical fog and all the magical moments. love the blogs,
