Day 18 - photos

We initially left at 5:50 got 10 feet from the Albergue and it started raining. We went back to repack the bag to protect stuff and put jackets on. The rain was at a light drizzle when we got back out. It stayed drizzly or windy for a long while.

Just between el Burgos and Reliegous we saw this aqueduct. I recall things like this in Los Angeles but empty of water.

In Reliegous we found a hobbit home! Though I believe the occupants are out with the elves!

Group photo since so many wanted to see more people! Here we have the three Irish gents Billy, Tommy, and Johnny. We have been walking the same path and staying at the same place for about the last 4 nights ( until tonight). Our paths should cross again in two days.

An offering to the pilgrim virgin. ANT L Note the rock to the right...

Lastly the León cathedral! Inside is filled with huge stained glass windows. Bastian did not get indoor photos though.

There you have it. After the Catgedral it was 2pm so we took a siesta (most stores close between 2pm and 5pm for siesta). We woke up to pouring rain! May it be clear skies tomorrow.

    1. I went into the cathedral briefly but they were closing.
The hobbit home was boarded up.
In a few days I will pass by the traditional rock cross where I will place my rock I have.

Lastly the Irish men are quite the characters it makes for quite the exciting evenings!
