Trace musings

Currently on the ferry to Ireland. We have a third with us. Our lovely English host who has not been to Ireland either. It is always exciting to go somewhere new!

England has been fabulous! Such lovely countryside and then you get to a city like London and are a little taken aback by the crowds and sheer number of things to see. The underground train (tube) system is rather intricate but only took a moment to understand.

Today is a travel day. Which would be relaxing if it wasn't for the hurry up and wait. In the car it rained a lot. On the ferry there is just ocean to see and It was choppy. The upper deck you could go out on but it is terribly windy and mostly only used by the smokers. Next is driving to the hotel and settling in. We started at 7am and it is already after 5pm! So yes travel days are difficult and typically make me miss home a bit more than usual. However Ireland is in sight and a new fresh adventure waits!
