We got up early and had to taxi to the airport because the subway doesn't start until too late :(. Our 7am flight went off perfect no issues with our backpacks or passports. Next reservation I'm making it at a more decent hour like at 9am. In Porto they had a vending machine of Milka bars! These are a German chocolate bar that is simply fantastic! So far you can find them in Spain and Portugal! They make the best dessert but mot so good for 6am breakfast so none for me :( .
No more photos from today. Last night I was up way later than I should have been. I got into a great discussion with some Germans, a greek guy, and someone from Portugal about the differences in our cultures and my Camino adventures. It is hard to say goodnight when you are having great conversations and beer! It was about 1am when i made it up to the room Bastian was asleep and I was soon to follow suit. 4:45 am was way too soon. Well worth it!
London greeted us with typical overcast rain. We did our laundry and are settling in with a friend. It was great to finally open our extra clothing box! Mmm new fresh shoes. Planning our London and Ireland trip weather is going to be a big factor.
I wonder if you can get Milka candy here. I'll have to look. Glad you had a great conversation before you left Portugal! You can sleep when you get home LOL If you wait for good weather you might not be able to see anything. Nothing can stop you now anyway...you survived the CAMINO Ant L
ReplyDeleteWhen we were in Barcelona there was a fast food place called Pan Pan which sold sandwiches of all kinds...I could have eaten there every day. Looks like you're having a great time. It will be hard to come home. CJ mom
