Amsterdam - Heineken

Another beer tour! I'm beginning to think these are all the same. Here is where Heineken got their start.

In 1864 Mr. Heineken bought a little brewhouse and made it big and successful. They brew like all the rest using mostly water, some barley, hops, and their special strain of yeast.

This tour had several interaction points including a ride. Where you got to feel what it is like to be beer. It is a weird ride but entertaining.

Also this wall of bottles that light up.

And of course the tasting! I'm not exactly a Heineken fan but I think it tasted better here at the brewhouse.
