We started with coffee and then a partial reconstruction of StoneHenge in Rolla before detouring about an hour off the route to Jefferson City and the Missouri state Capital!
My travel companions were working hard to decide what qe should stop at today!
The Missouri Capitol building was not as intricate and ornate as The illinois capitol but they sure liked displaying their state seal! There was a lot of people there and both the house and Senate were closed but I got a nice photo through the oval door windows.
Marshfield, MO has a 1/4 scale replica of the hubble telescope.
Springfield, MO had a cute space cat statue. Also we jad lunch at a local chai called Black sheep burgers and shake where i ate one of the best burgers I have ever had, the blackberry pie shake was also off the hook amazing I wish i could bottle this place up and take it home with me?
Red Oak II is a town recreated from Red Oak which was an abandon town.
And the miscellaneous other photos included a very dilapidated mother nature reclaiming old general store (it was built in the early 1900's)
Dinner was a local dish called Red Spaghetti kinda like cincinnati chili.
