Walrus?

Halloween was great. This guy really knew how to play a walrus, his costume was inspired by Lewis Carroll's poem The Walrus and the Carpenter.

Connecticut

Mark Twain's house or at least the home he had built in Hartford, CT. The tour guide said he wrote Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn here. It is a beautiful ostentatious home.


CT capitol building was also very beautiful. I like the gold Dome.

Rhode Island

Downtown Providence has this really beautiful water walkway.

Mystic

Ever seen the movie Mystic pizza?

It takes place in Mystic, CT so I had to stop and partake in some Pizza
Simply the best pizza EVER!


Of course the view was nice too

Fall is in the air..

Brain fruit (Osage-orange or hedge apple ) are very prominent in Ohio although they are native to Texas and Oklahoma. I have read that they aren't good to eat but they do deter many bugs including spiders!


I took a wrong turn and got a little of the beaten track and ended up in someone's side yard. I think the legs are a nice touch eh?

Breast Cancer awareness

Oct is Breast Cancer awareness month. I saw this display at my hair salon. I thought it was a creative use of Post-its.

Hand Washing Demo

Today at work there was a little reverse trick or treating. This hand walked around with candy handing it out to anyone who stopped.


I couldn't pass up the opportunity to give a high five!

Somewhere in that pile is the fire Hydrant. Of course that night a big wind came in and blew the leaves back on their yard... oops?

A fall leaf. I took a long time trying to capture this leaf perfectly. It represents life with its green fading to red and then to brown and crumbling death. It isn't often you see all three aspects in one leaf.

Metal Statue

I'm not sure if I like this statue or not however it sits in a local hospital on the second floor of their new cardiac wing. Maybe it is suppose to signify strength and health?
