Actually it was a Hubbard tank like this one - http://1-800-medical.com/whitehall/image/hydro/fullbod.jpg Physical Therapists use to use them to immerse a patient usually with a wound for hydrotherapy. We don't use them anymore (or at least I haven't seen one in use in my 5 years.
