Beautiful Day

Today has been great weather (finally). After 2 weeks of mostly rain I was happy to see the sun and be able to get out into nature some.
Thus I went back to my favorite location - Cox arboretum here you can see Zipp watching for pesky ducks?


This is the roof of a little open air shelter they have near the herb gardens. I really liked the angles in the shot.

A night at the theater

Roxy and I went to see Moonlight and Magnolia's at the local theater. The play was great it is the story of the writing of the screenplay for Gone with the Wind.

We had some time prior so we walked a bit along the river


and had pre-theater cocktails

TouchDown Jesus?

Just North of Cincinnati, off the side of the highway 75 there is this 60 foot tall statue of Jesus. He has become a bit of a celebrity especially since Heywood Banks did a song about him - Big Butter Jesus

Wedding...

Yesterday I attended a friend's wedding in TopSail Beach, NC.

The sunset was one of the most spectacular I have ever seen. I can't wait to see their professional pictures.

Salmon goodness!

Last night, my friend decided to make dinner: Teriyaki salmon with pineapple over rice. It was awesome! She marinaded the salmon for 2 days and you could really tell.

Wandering..

While my friends works I decided to wander the neighborhood.

first I found the book store:


then I went walking through random areas of grass and found the husk of a once tennis ball? It looked like some dog had a great time!

Random statue any clue what it may be? i'm at a complete loss however it stands in front of a Dentist office.


Lastly, i sat down to a nice Wild Berry Smoothie at the local homemade icecream/gelato place. It had quite the atmosphere.

Overhead

Flying over Ohio. Yesterday I took a plan trip to Richmond (via Atlanta). i always love getting birds eye view shots of land.


This is Atlanta, GA skyline. It was very hazy and my window was dirty :(. Maybe i'll get a better one on the trip home.

Silent music of nature
